Tips & Frequently Asked Questions

Tips:

  • During sign up, when you are creating your team, do NOT use an e-mail address that has a space in it! Go to Yahoo! or Hotmail and get a new free e-mail address.

  • Your TEAM NAME should not contain any of the following characters:
    " ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) - _ < > / \ | { } [ ]

  • Use Internet Explorer 5.0 or later for best results and viewing. To find out what version you currently have, click on "Help" on the menu bar at the top of your browser window. Download the newest free version of Internet Explorer here.

  • Keep your computer tuned up! Empty the cache on your computer weekly. Click on "Start", "Programs", "Accessories", "System Tools" for maintenance programs for your computer.

  • Be sure to make your initial picks after you signup for a league. Picks will carry over from race to race should you forget to change your picks or have a problem changing picks before a race. Some points are better than 0 points.

  • When submitting picks for a race, please make sure that you see the DRIVERS UPDATED SUCCESSFULLY message at the top of the page to make sure your picks have been accepted.

  • When contacting us, ALWAYS send us your Full Name, E-MAIL ADDRESS, and what league that you signed up with. This will help track down any issues quickly.

F.A.Q.'s:

    Sign Up / Login Problems

  • Q: I made my payment but I can't login. Why?
    A: If you are a new team and have just made a payment, you will have to wait until your payment has been received. This is a manual process and you will be notified via email that your payment has been accepted/rejected. Until you receive that email, you will not be able to login. Existing teams joining leagues will be able to login, but may not see their new league right away.

  • Q: I have forgot my login name and password. How can I retrieve it?
    A: Go to the Team Login page and click on the Forget Username or Password link. Enter the e-mail address you signed up with and it will send you your login information.

  • E-mail Addresses with spaces in them should NOT be used. Go to Yahoo! or Hotmail and get a new free e-mail address.

  • Only one unique e-mail address can be per league. If you need an additional e-mail address, go to Yahoo! or Hotmail and get a new free e-mail address.

    Making Picks

  • You must be logged in before you can make your picks. You can login by selecting 'Team Login' from the menu.

  • Make sure you have the correct league selected.

  • Q: I have selected a league but can't make my picks, what's wrong?
    A-1: You have not made your payment or it has not been received yet.
    A-2: I have not approved your payment yet. You will receive an email stating "Your payment has been received, you may now make picks."
    A-3: The shutoff time for making picks has passed.

  • Still not solved? Contact Us.

  • Q: I'm going out of town and won't be near a computer, how do I change my picks?
    A: Make your picks ahead of time before you leave! Picks can be changed anytime before the shutoff time.

  • Q: I forgot to make picks, what can I do?
    A: Once you make your initial picks for the first race of a segment, your picks from the previous race carry over automatically to the next race within a league. You will not be able to make any changes after the shutoff time. No Exceptions!

    Driver picks DO NOT carry over to NEW segments. You need to sign up using the entry form as an existing team and make new picks at the beginning of each new segment.

    Payments

  • If you have already signed up but still need to make your payment, go here.

  • No Refunds once a segment has begun!

  • Q: I won, when do I get my prize?
    A: Usually 10 - 14 days after the session has ended.

    Drivers / Driver Categories

  • A printable list of the Drivers and categories they are in can be found under the each league from the menu since categories and drivers can differ between leagues.

  • Driver Categories are adjusted between segments, not DURING a segment.

  • You may change your drivers as many times as you want prior to the shutoff time for each race.

  • Q: How are the driver categories determined?
    A: To put it simple... On past performance and a gut feeling of what I expect them to do in the future, not by how they finished in the points standings.

    Team Changes

  • If you need to make a change to your Team Information such as an e-mail address change, phone number or a home mailing address change, you will need to login and then from the menu go to My Team --> Modify Team Information. At this time you will not be able to change your Team Name.

    Results / Standings

  • Q: Why did the standings change?
    A: Changes in the standings occur for one of two reasons.
    1 - An error was made while entering the results and was corrected.
    2 - NASCAR changed their final results so an update was made to Wallbanger's results.

  • Q: Where can I view my teams points for all of the races?
    A: Go to the overall standings page for your league, and click on the points to see that teams history for all races.

  • REMEMBER - The results posted immediately after the race are UNOFFICIAL! You will be notified if I make a change or correction to the standings.
