Cup qualifying canceled due to rain at Pocono Raceway

LONG POND, Pa. – Rain has forced the cancellation of NASCAR Sprint Cup qualifying Friday at Pocono Raceway, putting points leader Tony Stewart on the pole for Sunday’s Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500. The field is set according to the NASCAR rulebook. Only 43 teams were at the track, so all competitors made the field.
